Volunteer

Safe Place offers a unique service to those in our community. We have a dedicated team of volunteers, many years of experience, and a network of community contacts but our existence depends upon your contributions. Safe Place gratefully accepts in-kind donations, money, and volunteer support. We are always looking for people to foster our animals until a permanent placement can be found. 90% of donations go to Animal Services!
We also need people to support our community outreach programs and fundraising efforts. If you would like to learn how you can help please contact us.

Volunteers Needed

If you are able to...

• Provide temporary foster care to an animal who is waiting to be adopted
• Offer assistance during special events and community outreach services
• Support our development team by increasing awareness of our services
• Assist in programming functions including evaluating animals, working with the person who is terminally ill or assessing new homes for our pets
• Write thank you notes, manage data bases or other administrative functions
