My name is Sandy and I am a 6 year old Golden/Heeler
mix. Like my namesake canine in "Annie" I have had
a kind of "hard knock life" lately. First, my
original owner died and Safe Place helped me find a new
home. I have been there for about a year and now I
am back with Safe Place because my little boy became
allergic to me and his parents could not keep me. Now I
really need a stable, loving, forever home more than
ever. I get along with cats and kids and love
rides and walks. With my Heeler nature I like to
be in charge sometimes but then there's that wonderful
mellow Golden in there, too. Kind of like getting two
for of one! So let's make sure that the third time
really is the charm and come make me a member of your
